Jakub successfully defended his PhD
Jakub Jagielski defended his PhD thesis entitled "Two-Dimensional Colloidal Quantum Wells for Future Photonic Sources".
Congratulations to Jakub Jagielski who just successfully defended his PhD thesis on 22nd of Feb 2020!! His thesis in the context of synthesis, processing, and photophysics of layer-controlled colloidal quantum wells (CQWs) of lead halide perovskites. His defense was evaluated by Prof. Maksym Kovalenko (D-CHAB) and Prof. Lukas Novotny (D-ITET). His work explored the potential of using 2D materials as directional photonic sources by reducing outcoupling losses.
