Tian successfully defended his PhD
Tian Tian defended his PhD thesis entitled "Modeling and Engineering the Interfacial Properties of Two-Dimensional Materials"
Congratulations to Tian Tian, the first LISE PhD student, who just successfully defended his PhD thesis on 13th of Nov 2019!! His thesis in the context of modeling and engineering the interfacial properties of 2D materials is very well received, with Prof. Mathieu Luisier (D-ITET) and Dr. Elton Santos (Queen's University of Belfast, UK) as coexaminers. His work helps to bridge the multiscale physical phenomena at the interface of two-dimensional materials, and how we can engineer their properties for better electronic devices and applications.
