Our first demonstration on the aggregation-induced-emission quantum dots (AIEQDs) highlighted by the media
The AIEQD mechanism and materials may break the longstanding "green gap" challenge in the solid-state lighting community.
Our AIE QD technology allow us to demonstrate the first green LED that completely downconverts an blue LED and shows an energy-to-light efficiency outperforming the commercial nitride-based green LEDs. This work involves collaboration with teams from Switzerland, UK, USA, and Taiwan.
