Zhan-Hong Lin, originally from Taiwan, obtained his B.S. degree from National Cheng Kung University and his M.S. degree from National Tsing Hua University. He worked as a research assistant in the Nanophotonics Device Laboratory located in the Research Center for Applied Sciences at Academia Sinica. In July 2017, he started his Ph.D. studies at the Department of Nanophotonics in Leibniz-Institut für Photonische Technologien, Germany, under the supervision of Dr. Jer-Shing Huang and Prof. Dr. Jürgen Popp. His research focuses on plasmon-enhanced spectroscopy and the optical properties of fluorescent microspheres, especially on enhanced chiral light-matter interactions at the nanoscale and modulated whispering gallery modes within microcavities. In 2023, he received his Ph.D. from Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena and then joined the group of Prof. Chih-Jen Shih at ETH Zürich.
